Start the game

Choose a dungeon, and the game opens in this tab. Its Dungeons button brings you back to the list.

Controls

Keys	What it does

`SpaceEnter`	Use what's in front: open doors, pull levers, read writing, fill sockets
`F`	Pick up what lies at your feet
`X`	Search this square and the ones around it. Traps there are easier to avoid.
`1`–`4`	Swing a hero's right hand. Hold `Shift` for the left hand.
`R`	Rest, when no monsters are near
`M`	Open or close the map
`P`	Pause
`Esc`	Put a held item back in the pack, or close the map
Mouse	Click a weapon to attack or the spellbook to cast. Click items to hold, equip or drink them, and click the view to use what's ahead.

Before you go down

Log in and open Your party to choose your four heroes, with their names, classes, portraits and order.
Only the top two heroes can hit in melee. Keep Constance and Malphit in the back row with spears, bows and spells.
Use Rest only when nothing is hunting you. Mana comes back while you rest.
Open every chest. Keys and potions hide in them.
Press How to play on the title screen to see the controls in the game.

What you need

browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, from the last few years
controls: A keyboard and mouse play best
saves: Demo games played without logging in aren't saved. With an account, you get one save per dungeon. Use Save and Load in the game's top bar; it also saves on every staircase.
account: Not needed for the demo. Sign up with a subscription to save your games and open every dungeon.
